In this blog we will show you how you can make a magnetic Sinterklaas puzzle easily. It is the 5th of December and that means that Sinterklaas (Saint Nicholas) is ready to give his gifts to all the children in the Netherlands. This also means that it is time again to craft for Sinterklaas. This crafting project is not only a fun game, but also a nice DIY Sinterklaas gift.

You need the following supplies to create the magnetic Sinterklaas puzzle:

• Magnet tape.
• A Sinterklaas picture/drawing. We downloaded ours via Freepik.com..
• Glue.
• Scissors.

• Craft cardboard. We used the back of our craft paper.

Step 1:

Find a nice Sinterklaas picture/drawing and print it. We found our Sinterklaas on horse via the website Freepik.com. 

Step 2:

Cut out the Sinterklaas picture/drawing and glue this onto the craft cardboard. Then, cut Sinterklaas out again. In case some pieces of paper are loose, touch up the picture with glue. 

Step 3:

Afterwards it is time to create the puzzle pieces. You can decide yourself in which shape you wish to cut the puzzle pieces and in how many pieces.  

Step 4:

You are almost finished! The only thing left to do is to make the puzzle magnetic. You can easily do this with our magnet tape. Cut the magnet tape in smaller pieces and take off the cellophane layer on the tape. Place the self-adhesive side on the back of the puzzle and you are done!

The Sinterklaas DIY was easily created and is perfect as Sinterklaas decoration, a game or as a DIY Sinterklaas gift.
